Kawailoa Wind Farm is a wind farm near the Waimea Valley, on the North Shore of Oahu. Commissioned in 2011, it comprises 28 wind turbines. At maximum capacity the farm is able to produce 69 MW. Kawailoa Wind Farm has been operational since 2012 and is a part of Hawaii's renewable energy efforts. Despite its clean energy, there are unintended ecosystem impacts on some native species of birds and bats, and efforts to mitigate these threats are ongoing.
Read more on WikipediaKawailoa Wind is a 69 MW wind power plant located in Honolulu County, Hawaii. The facility, owned and operated by Kawailoa Wind LLC, commenced operations in 2012. It utilizes a single generator consisting of multiple onshore wind turbines. The plant is fueled by wind (WND).
Kawailoa Wind is the largest of 6 wind plants in the state of Hawaii, and ranks 860th out of 1424 wind plants nationally. The plant's wind turbines were manufactured by Siemens, model SWT-2.3-101, with a rotor diameter of 101 meters and a hub height of 99.5 meters. The latest annual generation data indicates an output of 93,218 MWh, resulting in a capacity factor of 15.4%.

This plant is in a bilateral market territory without organized wholesale pricing. Nodal pricing data is not available.
No wholesale contracts disclosed in FERC EQR for this plant.
FERC EQR captures bilateral wholesale energy + capacity contracts ≥$1M/yr filed quarterly by jurisdictional sellers — covers renewable PPAs, thermal energy sales agreements, capacity contracts, and tolling agreements alike. Many plants don't appear: regulated-utility output flows to ratepayers via cost-of-service rather than bilateral contracts; small projects fall below the filing threshold; tax-equity-financed renewables route offtake to investors not utilities; merchant plants sell into ISO clearing markets without bilateral contracts. News-extracted buyer facts (below) may surface contracts disclosed only through announcements.
